For most players, this was their first time playing a different country’s bat and ball sport. Players from Romania, Moldova, Germany and U.S. Joint Task Force-East troops played against each other in oina, schlagball and softball Sept. 4 through 7.

Players from Romania, Germany and the United States spent the three days together learning more about each other’s bat and ball sports. At the end of the three-day festival teammates gathered together for a night of food and traditional Romanian dancing at a culminating ceremony in nearby Constanta.
